Scale Coachworks was founded in 1988 as a full time model building service by Dan Janssen. We continue to offer our clients specialized building and painting services as we have for the past 20 years. We have expanded our services to include consulting services for the model and hobby industry. Our list of clients is impressive: plastic and die cast model companies, race teams, race car drivers, hobby magazines, hobby shops, resin manufacturers and private collectors from around the world.

We have built a solid reputation through the years based on the quality and integrity we afford to each project. We understand that each project we are involved with is not simply a “model car”, but a scale replica reproduced to meet the demands of the individual company or collector.

Project confidentiality is another area that Scale Coachworks has excelled in especially for specialized work. While not every customer’s project requires this level of discreet care; rest assured, when there are special needs or requests, those projects will be held to the strictest confidence.

Each and every aftermarket item we sell whether Trans kits, full resin kits, decals or accessories is skillfully crated to provide the builder and collector a quality product. We take great pride in providing unique and specialized items to our customers.
